Bunnies really do need their full 8 weeks with mom, which is why it is illegal to sell bunnies before then... Please, if you are looking for a healthy bunny from a responsible family or breeder, think twice before adopting a bunny that is younger than 8 weeks old. Trying to sell or adopt out a bunny younger than that is just NOT AT ALL thinking about the well-being of the bunny.

************* A word about scammers **************
We've had a few scammers contact us... The usual "narrative" they give is to
1: Indicate they will send a money order or cashiers check via a courier service, and then
2: Indicate they are "going" out of town and will have a "service" pick up the item, and finally,
3: They say, "Oh, I may not be able to pay my pick-up service in time, so I'll include that payment to you and then I want you to pay my "'pick-up service" directly.'"
4: Oh, and yeah... the last one told me "she" is hearing impaired, so that I am only to communicate with "her" via email (Americanlisted email) or text... TRANSLATION... She is probably not a she and her/his voice would give away that she/he is a scammer from abroad.
What happens then is.....
1: Their funds go into the seller's bank account, then,
2: The unknowing seller is requested to send a money order to the "pick-up service," and
3: Then, a few days later, the original funds that went into the seller's bank account "magically" disappears.
This has actually happened to me, but luckily when it did, I was not quick enough to get payment to the "pick-up service" before I discovered the original payment has "disappeared" from my bank account... In that instance, the "buyer" tried to tell me that his secretary mistakenly overpaid me by $1000, and that they needed me to send that via money order ASAP.
You would think someone wouldn't do this for something small, like my little rabbit that is not very expensive... however, they will indicate their courier or pick-up services is many $100ssss of dollars...
SOOOOOOO, if you plan to offer this scenario to me, move on!!!!!!! I will only accept cash!
